An elderly woman has been knocked down by a vehicle in Wandsworth.
The incident, at the junction with Merton Road and Lebanon Gardens, happened on Wednesday, February 7, at about 8.40pm.
The woman, who is in her 80s, received ‘serious’ leg injuries and was taken to a south London hospital where she remains in a stable condition.
The male driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and assisted police, he was not arrested.
Detectives from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating - they would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision.
