A free festival to encourage Wandsworth residents to get active is back for the ninth annual year.
This year, the Get Active Wandsworth Festival Roadshow will be attending community events across Wandsworth, providing families in the borough a chance to get involved.
The community events includes Furzedown Big Day out at Furzedown Recreation Ground on Saturday, June 16, Falcon Road Festival at Shillington Gardens on Saturday, June 30 and Get Active Roehampton, at the Bull-ring on Saturday, September 1.
The day will be filled with activities, advice tents, mascot races, and guest presenters to inspire residents to get active.
At the roadshow, attendees can also expect to find a climbing wall, face painting, dance performances, and a sports club area with a range of sports to try.
The Get Active Wandsworth Festival is delivered by Enable Leisure and Sport on behalf of Wandsworth Council.
