Wandsworth MS Group have gathered together to hold their first ever summer fun day.

It was a day for local residents to have fun and meet others in Wandsworth affected by multiple sclerosis.

Attendees enjoyed Indian dancing, yoga, and tucked into the array of homemade cakes while children couldn’t get enough of the homemade slime, bouncy castle and face painting.

The event on Sunday, June 30 was arranged by the self-funded Wandsworth MS volunteer team who provide information, advice and support to anyone living in Wandsworth affected by MS.

Liz Sines, Wandsworth MS Group Co-ordinator said: “Our Family Fun Day was just that, people in Wandsworth affected by MS came with children, grandchildren, friends and family. A great time was had by all."

Following the success of the day at Wandle Recreation Centre in Wandsworth, the group hope this could be the start of an annual event.
