Jubilant fans are filling the streets in Battersea as England scored twice against Sweden to cruise into the World Cup semi-final.

Photos and videos online show scores of supporters in the roads and on the pavement dancing following the huge victory this afternoon.

Some have taken to climbing on top of buses and halting traffic, while similar can be seen across south London.

One person can be seen on top of a double-decker and another on a bus stop, while three climbed onto the roof of a van.

Harry Maguire headed home the opener from an Ashley Young cross to break the deadlock on the half-hour mark, sending England fans into delirium.

Those celebrations continued when Dele Alli scored in similar vein when Jesse Lingard set him up minutes before the hour.

Now Gareth Southgate’s young side will face Croatia in the semi-final in Moscow.

This is the first time England has reached the semi-final stage of the major international competition since for 28 years since 1990.

A win next week would set them up for the grand finale at the Luzhniki Stadium next Sunday on July 15.
