A Battersea man will run 30 half-marathons in 30 days this October to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.
Jack Sirett, 30, will tackle the half-marathons in consecutive days, ending with the Royal Parks Half Marathon on October 14.
Mr Sirett said: “Royal Parks is my ‘home’ running route, so it made sense to finish the challenge there.
“The challenge will be mentally tough and will obviously put a lot of stress and on my joints and muscles.
“Getting people to run with me every day will make it less of a mental challenge”.
Starting on September 15, Mr Sirett will participate in official half-marathons each Sunday across the UK.
In between these, Jack will run a half marathon each day around his local area, accompanied by friends.
He hopes to complete his final marathon in 1 hour and 45 minutes.
