Kingstonian FC are looking to speak to family descendants of players or people who played a part in the club’s history.

The South London club is appealing to members of the public for photos and club memorabilia for their new website The K’s Archives, which documents the club’s history.

Kingstonian FC is keen to speak to family descendents of former players or people involved in the club, particularly the families of William Carn, David Judd and Sammy Emms.

The archival project has been made easier by the Surrey Comet, which has been reporting on the club since their first game on November 28, 1885.

With the help of Kingston Local History Centre, the club is documenting its history, starting from its beginnings in 1885 as Kingston and Surbiton YMCA FC, playing in a field at Bushy Park.

The team won the Amateur Cup in 1933 and was greeted with a reception at the Guildhall where 20,000 people turned out to see them presented with the cup.

More recent successes were at Wembley in the FA Trophy in 1999 and 2000.

The K’s Archives can be accessed on www.kingstonianhistory.co.uk.
