Employees at a hairdressers in Earlsfield are scared and feel unsafe, after being burgled by two people, who are reportedly known in the area.
The Headmasters branch on Garratt Lane was burgled at 5.15pm on Sunday, September 23. CCTV footage shows two peope approaching the back door of the shop and walking into the shop through an open door and taking a bag.
The manager had left the door open while she went into the salon to get a bin bag. The opportunistic thieves noticed the open door and took a bag.
Around £4,000 worth of items were stolen. One employee told the Wandsworth Guardian that they feel 'unsafe' when going outside. She said: "We are worried about it happening again, staff are scared to open the shop or empty the bins late at night. The man who took the bag is very known in the area."
Earlier this week, the Wimbledon Guardian reported that two people matching the same description are being sought by police in connection with a burglary in the Wimbledon area.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone to come forward with any information. They should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
