A female cyclist has been injured in a ‘collision with a truck’ on Friday evening.
Metropolitan Police confirmed officers attended with London Ambulance Service.
Police were called to Clapham Common South Side, near junction with Englewood Road, at 6.06pm on October 5 following reports of a road traffic collision.
A female cyclist aged in her late 30s is believed to have been injured in a collision with a truck.
She was taken to a South London hospital, but her injuries are not life threatening or life changing.
Reports of the incident in Clapham Common South Side first emerged on social media at around 6.30pm.
One Twitter user wrote: “People were really shaken on the street. I had to comfort and reassure a lady who had burst into tears
“She said she cycles to work too and was really shaken up. I really wish they could accelerate the improvements to cycling provisions on the roads.”
No arrests have been made as of yet, but police enquiries continue.
