London’s alternative festive experience is back. Following the huge success of last year, Winterville returns to Clapham Common with a diverse and unmissable month of entertainment.

Street Feast, Backyard Cinema, the Ice Rink, Twisted Wheels Roller Disco, Plonk Golf, the Fairground, Spiegeltent and pop-up pub Bar Humbug all return. But there’s also plenty of new entertainment this year.

The Christmas Labrinth is a huge magical maze from Backyard Cinema, leading to a two-screen cinema in an enchanted forest with a cabaret-themed bar, a hidden tequila bar and surprises galore along the way.

Following a sell-out run in The Vaults earlier this year, aerial sensationalists Chivaree Circus debut their brand-new production CRASH in the Spiegeltent. And for the first time the Winterville Spiegel hosts comedy with a special showcase of Rabbit Rabbit Comedy's favourite comedians including Kerry Godliman, Fin Taylor and Tony Laws.

Lucha Britannia return to Winterville with their Mexican Wrestling extravaganza, as do Mariah & Friendz with their distinctly disturbed take on the holiday season. Rising London festival Mighty Hoopla are putting on a Christmas Jumpergeddon, while U Okay Hun? and the The Cocoa Butter Club also make their Winterville debuts.

There’s plenty of family festive fun. Kids can hop on board a converted double decker bus and experience Bus King Theatre’s magical puppet show, 'What Is That In My Hat?', before heading upstairs for a puppet-making workshop. Adults can return in the evening for a more risque puppet show The Disillusioned Illusionist).

Each week art and science magazine Okido host a number of kids workshops, while one-off special kids shows include a Family Mexican Wrestling Show from the London Lucha League and SPLAT, a new variety extravaganza from Mariah & Friendz.

Solo Craft Fair sets up shop in a second Spiegeltent every weekend showcasing local artisans selling a unique range of art, jewellery, ceramics, kids clothing and more, while there’s also a series of themed talks from Funzing including ‘The Science Of Santa’, ’Love, Dating & Festive Flirting’ and ‘Christmas Cards From A Killer’.

More entertainment is still to be announced with the food and drink line-up, live DJ sets, new kids activities and lots, lots more still to come.
