An unusual-looking Bengal x Sphynx cat named Kuba has been making a big impression at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, and is believed to be the first of his kind to come to the rescue centre.

The unusual looking crossbreed has quickly become a firm favourite with the staff, thanks to his unique voice and distinctive appearance.

The one-year-old is a confident cat who’s as content exploring the great outdoors as he is curling up in someone’s lap to be showered with affection. Kuba is now looking for his perfect new home, which will ideally include a large garden for him to roam in and owners who are happy to have a chat with this very talkative young cat.

Rob Young, Head of Catteries at Battersea, said: “We were all very intrigued when we heard that a Bengal Sphynx cross was coming in to our London centre as we’ve never seen one at Battersea before. Kuba is such an affectionate cat and certainly has a lot to say for himself. We hope he finds a new family soon as he has a lot of love to give and is keen to start his next adventure.”
