A motorist had a lucky escape after they were hit by a bus in Tooting Broadway.

The collision took place at around 4:50 am on the junction between Garratt Lane, Mitcham Road and Tooting High Street.

From dash cam footage share on Twitter, the car looks to have ran a red light but struck a bus. The car struck the lamposts and traffic light. Luckily no one was injured in the collision.
