An endurance event has launched a city-based version of their course in Clapham Common.

Tough Mudder, is renowned for being one of the toughest physical and mental challenges. Tough Mudder Up Late came to Clapham on Friday, October 12. Rather than the usual 12 mil obstacle course, visitors were met with 5 KM of obstacles along with plenty of street food options, craft beer and party vibes within the Mudder Village.

Tough Mudder’s 5 kilometres, featured over ten of Tough Mudder’s top-rated obstacles designed to encourage teamwork and camaraderie. Boasting five brand new 2018 obstacles, Mudder fans were greeted with brand new structures Giant A-Hole and Hanging Out.

Giant A-Hole stands at a whopping 6.5m tall and requires participants to scramble up and over the enormous structure. Participants taking on Hanging Out will be swinging ring-to-ring through the middle of the Giant A-Hole obstacle above them.

Will Dean, CEO and co-Founder of Tough Mudder Inc., the leading active lifestyle brand and endurance events company, said, “With Tough Mudder 5K we can now welcome even more Mudders into the tribe – from people who have never tried a Tough Mudder event before and want a flavour of our legendary camaraderie to well-seasoned Mudders who would like to try new obstacles and bring friends in tow. We’re excited to bring epic new obstacles to Clapham Common and look forward to welcoming you to the new events in 2019.”
