Kent Police are continuing to search for a 46-year-old missing woman from New Ash Green days after making an arrest.

Sarah Wellgreen was last seen on Tuesday evening (October 9) in Bazes Shaw.

A man in his 30s was arrested on October 16 before being released on bail until November 16 pending further enquiries.

District Commander, Chief Inspector Tony Dyer, said: "We are increasingly concerned for Sarah’s welfare who was reported missing almost two weeks ago

"She has not been in contact with her family and her car was left at her home address. It is possible Sarah left home on foot or received a lift from somebody.

"My officers are conducting ongoing enquiries with residents and businesses which includes the examination of CCTV footage.

"The search continued in the area over the weekend and I am very grateful to members of the local community gave up their time to assist us.

"I would urge anybody with information that may help to contact us. If you think you may have seen her but are not sure, please do not hesitate to call the appeal line and let us know."

Sarah is described as being around 5ft 7ins tall, of medium build, with green eyes and straight brown hair.

She has connections outside Kent including Farnborough and Portsmouth.
