Tributes have been paid to a teenager who was fatally stabbed in Clapham.
Flowers were laid near Clapham South Tube station in memory of a 17-year-old killed there on Friday.
This comes as police appeal for witnesses and information regarding the attack.
Detective Chief Inspector John Massey of the Homicide and Major Crime Command, who leads the investigation, said: “This is another tragic, violent incident which has resulted in a teenage boy losing his life and a family who are totally devastated.
"We are confident that our investigation will lead us to the person or people responsible.
"There were a large number of people present when emergency service arrived at the scene. We would urge anyone who saw what happened and has not yet spoken to police to contact my team right away.”
Officers were called to the Tube station at 4.35pm where they found the victim suffering from a stab wound.
He was taken to hospital but died shortly after.
