A man believed to be in his late 50s was found dead at a residential address in Teddington.

Police are yet to make formal identification, but they are confident the victim is 58-year-old Carl Whitehead. He was found at an address in Cromwell Road, Teddington on November 17 at 4:30 pm.

Police officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene and Mr Whitehead was pronounced dead at the scene.

Next of kin have been informed and detectives are conducting an initial investigation into the unexplained death in close liaison with homicide detectives.

Following a post-mortem on Monday, November 19 the cause of death was consistent with blunt force trauma. Two men, aged 37 and 52 were arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday, November 19. Both remain in custody at a west London police station.
