Surrey Police have released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a reported sexual assault in Epsom earlier this month.

Surrey Police said the 12 year-old victim was allegedly approached by the suspect on her way home from school between 3.40pm and 4pm on December 5.

Police believe the suspect made comments about the victim’s makeup and shirt and touched her inappropriately.

The suspect is described as aged between 15 and 16 years old, with black straight hair which was longer on the top than the sides.

He is between 5’6” and 5’8” tall, of a slim build, with stubble above his mouth and chin and having an Asian skin tone.

He was wearing a navy blazer with a yellow trim, white shirt, black tie, black trousers and black shoes.

Detective Sergeant Stephen Muncaster said: “We have released this E-fit in the hope someone may recognise the person pictured and come forward with the information we need to bring whoever was responsible for this offence to justice.

“The victim was understandably left very shaken by the incident and I am urging people to look closely at the picture and give me a call if they believe they have information which could help our investigation.”

Anyone with any information should call 101 quoting reference PR/45180129583.
