400 elderly Wandsworth residents have gathered on Christmas Day for lunch and music with the Rotary Club of Battersea Park.
The event was held at the Evolution Events marquee in Battersea Park from 11am to 4.30pm on December 25.
Elizabeth Shaw, who helped organise the event, said: “The whole day was helped by over 200 volunteers who absolutely added to the occasion with their enthusiasm, care and fun.
“The Rotary Club would like to take this opportunity to thank all the businesses, organisations and local people for their donations and support which made this day possible.”
Guests arrived in the morning in a fleet of buses and were driven home in the afternoon with goody bags.
