A pedestrian is fighting for his life after a crash involving a van in Balham.
A 37-year-old man was walking on Balham Hill, near Clapham South station, just after 9:00 am on Monday (January 7) when the collision took place.
London Ambulance Service rushed him to hospital with a serious head injury.
The Metropolitan Police say the patient's injuries are considered life-threatening.
The man’s next of kin have been informed of his condition.
The driver of the Mercedes van stopped at the scene and is co-operating with police. No arrests have been made.
