Police in Tooting have been out saving lives, but not the ones you may think.
They took to Twitter today to share the work of two officers who noticed a "cruel" undertaking at hand.
"As well as our targeted patrols yesterday (January 31), PC Knellar and Watford undertook their roles as wildlife crime officers when they saw trapped pigeons," the message wrote.
"Although vermin, this is still cruelty due to netting not being maintained.
"Problem sorted."
