A car has crashed with an ambulance in Tooting Bec this afternoon leaving both vehicle heavily damaged.
A spokesman for the Met has said: "Police were called shortly after 16:00hrs on Saturday, February 2 to reports of a collision involving a car and an ambulance on Tooting Bec Road at the junction with Trinity Road, SW7.
"Emergency services remain at the scene."
It is understood that the road has since been reopened with traffic now moving.
