The family of a missing Midwifery student from Battersea are appealing for her to come home, after she has been missing since December.

Joy Morgan, who turned 21 yesterday (February 12) is a student at the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield.

Her family live in Battersea High Street and have not seen her since last year.

She has not seen since December and her family became increasingly worried when she did not attend her classes.

She was last seen in the Hatfield area.

Her mum, Carol Morgan, made an emotional plea.

"She hasn't missed any of her lectures in her 2 and a half years at university.

"We miss you Joy and we love you. We just want to know you're safe. We are so proud of what you have achieved at university and just want to know you're okay.

"If anyone knows anything please come forward."

Joy is described as black, of slim build and around 5ft 5in tall, with black afro-style hair which she often covers with a scarf. She also wears glasses.
