More than 50 businesses met at Twickenham Stadium last morning to share their local knowledge and explore the newly opened East Stand.

The event, hosted by Richmond Chamber of Commerce with Mayor Ben Khosa's support, gave local businesses the chance to see the new facilities for hire and discuss potential options with the venue team.

Louise Dormer of Twickenham Stadium encouraged business owners to contact her to discuss the hire of small and large spaces, for conferences, seminars or business meetings.

Chamber CEO Anne Newton was pleased with the positive feedback she received from attendees, who she encouraged to make the most of a new opportunity.

There are more than 20 rooms available for hire at the state of the art stadium ranging from 'Presidential' suites to the changing rooms of the players themselves.

The Chamber will be holding its Future High Street Strategies meeting next week on Tuesday (April 30) from 2.30pm to 4pm at York House in Twickenham.
