A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences.
Metropolitan Police Counter Terrorism Command detectives this morning arrested a 17-year-old boy from south-west London on suspicion of distributing terrorist publications, contrary to Section 2 Terrorism Act 2006.
The boy was arrested under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act at approximately 7.10am and is currently in custody at a south London police station.
A police search is ongoing at an address in south-west London and enquiries are ongoing.
