Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of Tesfa Campbell in Battersea have made three arrests.

Tesfa, from Croydon, was found with stab injuries on Latchmere Road, at about 2.45pm on July 3.

He was taken to hospital where he sadly died of his injuries at 7.40pm.

Earlier today, officers arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of murder.

Two women aged 26 and 23 were also both arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

All three have been taken to south London police stations where they remain in custody for questioning.

The family of 40-year-old Tesfa, have been informed of the arrests and continue to be supported by specialist officers from the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command.

A post mortem examination on Friday gave cause of death as a single stab wound to the abdomen.
