Police have made a fourth arrest following the fatal stabbing of Tesfa Campbell in Battersea last week.

Tesfa, from Croydon, was found with stab injuries on Latchmere Road, shortly before 3pm on Wednesday, July 3.

He was taken to hospital where he sadly died of his injuries at 7.40pm.

A 35-year-old man was arrested last night on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Two women aged 26 and 23 were previously arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender while a 37-year-old man was arrested yesterday morning on suspicion of murder.

All four have been taken to south London police stations where they remain in custody for questioning.

The family of 40-year-old Tesfa, have been informed of the arrests and continue to be supported by specialist officers from the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command.

A post-mortem examination on Friday, July 5 gave cause of death as a single stab wound to the abdomen.
