A man has been charged with the murder of Croydon man Tesfa Campbell.
Jerome Bailey, 37, of Greenock Road, Streatham, earlier this morning (July 8).
He is due to appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court later today.
The 40-year-old victim, was found with stab injuries on Latchmere Road, Battersea at around 2.45pm on July 3.
He was taken to hospital where he sadly died of his injuries at 7.40pm
A post-mortem on July 5, gave cause of death as a single stab wound to the abdomen.
On the morning of July 7, officers arrested Bailey on suspicion of murder.
Three other people have been arrested in connection with the investigation.
A 26-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been bailed to a day in early August.
A 23-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have been released under investigation.
