Police have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a knifepoint robbery in West Molesey.
Police were called around 7.40pm on July 6 following reports that a taxi driver had been the victim of a knifepoint robbery after collecting two passengers from the Walton area.
The taxi stopped in Grafton Way, West Molesey, and one of the passengers threatened the driver with a knife before forcing him out of the vehicle.
The suspects then made off with the taxi, as well as the driver’s wallet and phone.
The taxi driver was not injured following the incident.
The suspect is described as a white man, about 25 years old of a medium build. He has ginger coloured hair and clean shaven wearing a light grey baseball cap with a dark green t-shirt and full length bottoms.

A man who has been charged with robbery has been remanded in custody after appearing at Staines Magistrates’ Court on Monday (July 8). Louie Wilkinson, 19, of no fixed address, is next due to appear at Kingston Crown Court on August 5.
