A woman has died this morning after being hit by a lorry in Battersea.
Police were called at 8.36am to reports of a scooter and a lorry colliding at Queenstown Road, junction with Battersea Park Road.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. A woman in her 30s had suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Enquiries are underway to notify next of kin.
At this stage there have been no arrests.
Road closures remain in place, these include: Chelsea Bridge, Nine Elms Lane and Prince of Wales Drive, while officers complete on scene investigations.
