Commuters are facing seriously delays after a lorry stuck a bridge in Northfleet, temporarily stalling trains running between Dartford and Gravesend.
According to Southeastern railway, trains are now beginning to run normally after the incident occurred shortly before 11am this morning, stopping all trains between Ebbsfleet and Gravesend.
However, a number of trains may be delayed or cancelled as disruptions are expected to continue until 4pm.
Replacement buses are being organised to run between Dartford and Rainham, calling at all stations apart from Ebbsfleet.
Tickets are also being accepted on FastTrack buses, Arriva buses, Thameslink services and London underground services between London Cannon Street, London Victoria, London Bridge, London Charing Cross and Stratford
Thameslink have tweeted earlier: "Emergency services and Network Rail operatives are on site assessing the damage to the bridge and a specialist contractor is required to further assess the damage."
Updates as we get them.
