Charlton’s Lee Bowyer has given his opinion as to why Tomer Hemed’s transfer has yet to be finalised.

The Addicks have been waiting to hear back from the FA regarding the capture of the forward since submitting the deal on deadline day.

Bowyer has been waiting on the FA’s approval for a week and has been unable to include the Israeli in his squad, missing two games in the process.

“We’ve not heard anything back,” an exasperated Bowyer said.

“(Head of Recruitment) Steve Gallen sent another e-mail across yesterday asking for a response.

“It’s been a week now, so I don’t now what’s taken so long.

“Maybe, I’m guessing what’s going on with Bury and Bolton at the moment, all their focus is on that.

“In my eyes it’s wrong.

“There are different clubs in the league as well, and we’ve got a player that should be training and playing with us and we are getting no answer and no idea why.

“All we can do is keep chasing.

“The kid keeps texting Steve (Gallen), asking what’s happening.

“We are asking but getting no reply, it’s wrong, it’s the kids career.

“It’s two games he could’ve been involved with us, it’s no good.

“We understand other clubs have problems but we are part of the league as well.

“We are hoping they come back with the right decision.

“We’re not giving up hope, we just hope they come to see we’ve done everything right at our end.”
