Over 200 people attended an official opening of a flower shop in Hayes at the weekend for a glance at the new business.
Blooms & Candy Flower Studio, at 27 Station Approach, replaced a 50-year-old hair salon, Anne Steward.
The previous shop owner, Ms Steward, brought along her oldest client, 98, to wish staff at the flower shop future success.
Gigi Thompson and her business partner Olimpia Ulman opened on Saturday (August 17).
"We are so grateful to our family, friends and the community who gave us such a warm welcome to the local high street," Ms Thompson told News Shopper.
"We have already made so many new friends and welcomed hundreds of people through our doors on our opening day.
"The high street is the heart of a local community and look forward to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where people can feel at home to come and visit for a chat or a cup of coffee, see some seasonal flowers and purchase gifts for their loved ones."
She added: "We are looking forward to welcoming more local community through our doors and serving people in Hayes and surrounding Bromley area."
