Police have confirmed that a motorcyclist involved in a crash that killed a pedestrian died in hospital two days later.
Officers were called at about 8.20pm on August 30 to a seriously injured motorcyclist and pedestrian on Battersea Park Road.
The pedestrian - a 34-year-old woman - died as a result of her injuries.
The rider of the motorcycle - a 40-year-old man - was taken to hospital, where he died on September 1.
Next of kin for the pedestrian and rider have been informed and a post-mortem will be held in due course.
Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating and are appealing for anyone who may have dashcam footage to come forward.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call officers at the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Merton Traffic Garage on 020 8543 5157.
