People walking "in front of trains" are causing peak hour delays this evening.
An official post on the National Rail site said: "A trespass incident earlier today on the railway between London Victoria and Balham is causing disruption between these stations.
"Trains are now beginning to return to normal, however, may still be cancelled or delayed whilst service recovers.
"Disruption is expected until 9pm."
Multiple reports from passengers on board those trains have confirmed that movement is still slow and in some cases non-existent.
