A man was reportedly stabbed in the foot yesterday over £50.
Officers were called to Simnel Road at 1.30pm yesterday afternoon (September 16) to reports a man had been stabbed.
A man in his 30's was found suffering from a stab wound and was taken to a major trauma centre.
Police have now confirmed that the man is not in life-threatening condition.
Reports on social media say that the man was stabbed in the foot with what looked like a machete, other's have said it was a 'Katana', which is a Japanese sword.
The man was reportedly stabbed over £50.
No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
