A group of Wandsworth primary students are set to make their TV debuts after they were paid a special visit by the presenters of Channel 5's Milkshake.
Nathan, Kiana and Kiera - the children’s TV stars - were filmed at West Hill Primary to celebrate Black History month, with the show due to air in October.
The school's co-headteacher Mrs Healy said: “The children thoroughly enjoyed listening to the stories and are all very excited about the prospect of being on Channel 5 for their five minutes of fame”
The presenters visited West Hill to share some multicultural stories with the children in Key Stage 1.
The students, aged between 5 and 7, were filmed in the school’s creative hub listening to the stories and having fun with their TV heroes.
Lilly in Year 1 was delighted that the TV stars came to visit her school.
“The stories they read us were so fun”. Another Year 1 child, Sayt, added: “We laughed a lot when they read us the stories about the fruit”.
