British Transport Police have revealed the age of a person who was killed after being hit by a train at Earlsfield station earlier this week.
Officers were called to the station at 9.41pm on Wednesday following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended but sadly a 20-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene," a BTP spokesman said.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
Sad to hear of the death of a young man at Earlsfield Station last night. Our thoughts are with his family and friends and those of the train driver. We have written to South Western Railways to find out what happened.

A London Ambulance Service spokesman added: "We dispatched our hazardous area response team, an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and a medic in a car to the scene.
"We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance by road."
