Wandsworth foodies are in for a treat thanks to a new food market starting at Ram Quarter this Saturday.

Fine Food Markets is launching a weekly street food and fresh produce market at Greenland’s development in the heart of Wandsworth town centre.

Chris Daly, deputy director – commercial at Greenland, said: “Ram Quarter’s new food market is a welcome addition to the weekend’s activities in Wandsworth.

"It will allow local residents to enjoy a high-quality market that is currently only available further afield.

"It provides the perfect complement to the high street stores at Southside shopping centre and the boutiques on Old York Road, giving people the chance to top up their shop with a weekend treat or indulge in a delicious lunch.

"It’s always been part of Greenland’s vision for the site to bring the community in and make it part of the fabric of Wandsworth, and we’re looking forward to welcoming visitors and stallholders.”

The market will run between 10am and 2pm every Saturday from October 12 until December 21, before restarting in the new year.

There will be more than 15 vendors, offering artisan bread, charcuterie, deli items and a BBQ lunch.

The market will stretch from the Wandsworth High Street entrance through to Ram Quarter’s main central square.
