A Teddington woman has been charged following the murder of Croydon man Tesfa Campbell.

Police were called to Latchmere Road in Battersea just before 3pm on July 3 where Tesfa was found with stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital where he sadly died of his injuries at 7.40pm.

Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing have today charged Megan Armstrong-Challinor, 26, of Victor Road, with perverting the course of justice.

She was charged by postal requisition and will appear before Wimbledon Magistrates Court on November 26.

Previously, Jerome Bailey, 37 of Greenock Road, Streatham, was charged with murder.

He appeared in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on July 8 and has been remanded to appear for trial at Croydon Crown Court on January 2.

A 24-year-old woman remains released under investigation after being arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. A 35-year-old man has been released with no further action.
