Met Police in Teddington said they have issued warning after locating the owners of mopeds that were reportedly involved in anti-social behaviour in the summer.

According to police reports there had been a number of complaints coming from residents in Teddington and Hampton Wick over a group of people that were causing disruption.

Officers were able to locate the owners because the community helped to identify them by providing police with locations where they had seen the bikes as well as telling the police if other vehicles were involved.

An official tweet from MPS Teddington said: "Four S.59 warnings were served on young males for the manner of driving and the poor standard of driving.

"Another young male was processed for failing to stop for Police and for driving without due care.

"We have now seen a significant reduction in moped related anti-social behaviour."
