Met Police in Kew have said that its weekly 'Kew Contact Session' has been cancelled following government guidelines on social distancing.
A statement posted online said: "In light of government advice on social distancing, it is not appropriate for us to continue our weekly #KewContactSession at this time.
"All of our currently advertised sessions are cancelled."
Instead officers will be accessible via Twitter when on duty, or by emailing the forces inbox Kew@met.police.uk and also by visiting the Met online.
Residents can also be assured that officers will still be out on foot patrol and checking on our vulnerable residents.
They have also asked that residents be kind and look out for their neighbours.
