Following the Government guidelines and the closure of all UK schools, a range of online activities have been created on Facebook to keep children active during the social distancing phase.

Residents should be aware that each club has been set to a private account in a bid to protect children's safety.

Amanda's Action Club (at Home)

Amanda's Action Club at Home will run on weekday's and offers fun music sessions for babies and pre-school children .

Each session consists of modern nursery rhymes and versatile props, as well as endless interactive activities to keep children engaged.

There is also more than just music and movement as the sessions aim to link all activities to the Early Years Foundation Stage, in a bid to promote the importance of being active and healthy from an early age.

Amanda's Action Club runs between Monday and Friday from 10am to 10:30.

Itsy Bitsy Bakers

Set up by mothers - Sally and Kat, Itsy Bitsy Bakers hosts a range of cooking sessions for both children and adults.

Passionate about teaching children the skills needed to cook and bake, Itsy Bitsy Bakers will be hosting a free 'baking at home' session for children tomorrow [March 24] at 2pm.

Jelly Jade Presents

Every day from 3pm kids can join a live session with children's entertainer - Jelly Jade Presents on her Facebook page.

Jelly Jade has collaborated with ‘Mum to Little Readers,’ who has kindly provided the stories to read.

Each live session is filled with having fun whilst keeping children occupied as they stay at home.

PE Sessions with Joe Wicks #PEwithJoe

Richmond native Joe Wicks launched his first PE session this morning which has already received more than 800k views on YouTube.

And, from 9am each weekday children, teenagers and adults can join Mr Wicks for a 30 minute workout class.

Each session will help to connect people as well as inspire interaction and laughter.

Lockdown Activities for Kids (surviving COVID19)

Organised by Lisa Washington and others – ‘Lockdown Activities for Kid’s is a space for parents to share activities and inspire others.

Members are encouraged to share indoor and outdoor (in a non social-setting) activities that can stimulate children.

Mommy and You creative arts club for kids

'Mommy and You' is a creative arts page space aimed at learning and exploring activities for children.

Each member is encouraged to share their activities which can include colouring, art and craft, dancing, puzzles and daily- play ideas.

Baby Ballet Twickenham

Danielle Matsell - A Ballet Teacher from Twickenham will be hosting online ballet classes for babies and children who are already members.

Each session will run in the morning from Tuesday and Saturdays.

However, parents who would like to register their children can sign up to a three week trial which starts at £15 or parents can choose to pay £8 per session.
