A MAN has been charged with manslaughter after a 52-year-old died from injuries sustained in a bar fight.
Police received a report of an assault at Butlin’s holiday park in Bognor on June 14 and arrived to discover a fight which “involved several people”.
Michael Loughlin, 52, from Barton-le-Clay in Bedford, was punched in the head and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
He later died of his injuries.
Billy Mongey, 32, of Tooting Grove in Wandsworth, will appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday charged with manslaughter.
