Detectives have released an urgent appeal after a teenage girl was reportedly raped in Wandsworth Park.

The Met Police say the girl was attacked in the south west London park on Friday, May 15.

Officers were called to Wandsworth Park at 10:40pm to reports that the girl had been raped.

The girl continues to be supported by specialist officers.

Five males, all aged in their late teens, were arrested in connection with the investigation. They have all now been released under investigation.

Detectives would now like to speak to anyone who was in the area of the park at the time and may have seen or heard anything suspicious.

Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference Cad 8209/15May.

Police say enquiries continue.
