A road in Swanley has been closed by police after some thoughtless fly tippers left a heap of waste blocking the entire road.
Daltons Road in Crockenhill, Swanley, is completely blocked by fly tipping this morning, August 4.
Pictures shared by Kent Police Sevenoaks show building material, wooden planks and rubble dumped in a large pile in the middle of the narrow road, leaving it completely blocked.
Whilst the waste is cleared, Daltons Road between Gables Farm Kennels and Skeet Farm will be blocked.
There is no access to Skeet Hill Lane and Well Hill, and to access Lullingstone Park Golf Course, police are advising people to come in via Well Hill via Eynsford or Chelsfield.
On social media, people reacted angrily to the selfish flytipping.
One wrote: "This is terrible, I cannot believe some people," whilst another wrote: "Good god, what the hell is wrong with people."
Another tweeter said we need new laws to deal with this "disgusting" behaviour "blighting Kent countryside."
