#endchildfoodpoverty #SHARETHIS - So we can all agree that the #assholes who voted against extending the free school meals scheme into the holidays can go #Fattoush themselves. - For any of the youth in the #tooting area who are effected by this crap decision we are happy to offer you guys an amazing lunch from 12-2.30pm on us for 2 weeks starting Monday 26th. (We are open for lunch Wednesday - Saturday). This is at our discretion so just come up to us and mention it and we’ll get you fed. Parents accompanying their kids are more than welcome to eat too! - 322 MPs clearly don’t care about the people who are most at risk so please spread this on your social media if you live in the nearby area so the word can get out to the people who need it. If you are planning on coming down you can give us a call or drop us a DM too. - #tacklehunger #endhunger #localoutreach #helpothers

We don’t want to dilute the message that @marcusrashford has done such an excellent job of highlighting. / / Last week we gave away filter coffee for free with an optional donation to Wandsworth Foodbank, every single one of you chose to donate to this drive and I’ve paid over the funds this week to @trusselltrust , it’s clearly something that resonates with a lot of us here. / / Without turning the conversation political, organised food banks didn’t exist in the UK 10 years ago, last year they handed out over 1,500,000 emergency food supplies. Something fundamental has to be wrong for this to be the case where not only do we claim to have a welfare state, but are also not objecting to the current subsidy for our own politicians meals. / / Personally, if a 22 year old from Manchester feels compelled to do what 322 elected politicians chose not to, we’d like to join Marcus. Over the next two weeks we’re humbled to offer any child a Free School Meal, drop our insta a message or pop in between 11am-1pm and just mention Free School Meals. / #EndChildFoodPoverty

This October Half Term (Monday 26th – Friday 30th) we are joining Marcus Rashford and the hundreds of pubs, restaurants, cafes & individuals around the country who are rallying to support children in need. We will be giving out free children’s meals to vulnerable children, and we need your help to get the word out. We are pledging to give 6,000 packed lunches from our restaurants that are currently open. Starting at midday each day we will give out 50 meals a day (egg fried rice and a piece of fruit) from each of our restaurants. These will be available at the front of our restaurants for people who need them. A member of staff from each of our restaurants will be on hand to help give these out discreetly and safely. It goes without saying that we are giving these meals out in good faith, and we ask that only people who need them come to claim them, no questions asked. When entering our restaurants, please remember to wear a mask and maintain social distance where possible. Please helps us spread the word to the communities you live in to help us reach as many families as we can. #endchildfoodpoverty
