The victim of a fatal stabbing in Parsons Green last week was a teenager from Wandsworth.

Police were called at around 6:45pm on Thursday (Feb 11), to reports of a fight between a group of males on Ackmar Road, SW6.

An 18-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, despite receiving treatment for stab injuries to the chest.

Although formal identification is yet to take place, detectives have named the victim as Hani Solomon, from Wandsworth.

His next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

A police spokesperson said:

"My thoughts are with the friends and family of Hani who are still coming to terms with his tragic death and I want to assure them that we are working round the clock to track down those responsible.

"I would still like to hear from any witnesses who were in the area. A man has died and his loved ones are devastated – please do not stay silent if you know something.

“Something which may seem insignificant to you could be very significant for the investigation, so please let us know about it. I can assure those with information that, if you have concerns around contacting us, I will ensure your confidentiality.”

A second man, aged 20, was taken to hospital with a stab injury and later discharged. He was accompanied by a third man who was not injured.

Police then attended a west London hospital after a 23-year-old man presented himself with injuries. They were confirmed as not life-threatening and he was arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains under a police guard in hospital.
