Police made three more arrests in 24 hours as they continued with their murder investigating into the death of an 18-year-old from Wandsworth.

The victim, thought to be Hani Solomon from Wandsworth, was fatally stabbed on Ackmar Road in Parsons Green, Fulham, around 6.42pm on Thursday, February 11, and police said that three people had been arrested in connection on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning (February 16-17).

All three were young men aged between 17 and 18 years old.

One, an 18-year-old man, was arrested at Heathrow Airport on suspicion of murder.

This morning a further two males, aged 18 and 17, were arrested at separate residential addresses in southwest London, also suspected of murder.

They join a fourth person, a man aged 23, who was arrested by police on suspicion of murder after they attended a hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.

He was bailed to return on a date in mid-March, and remains under a police guard in hospital.

"These arrests demonstrate the fast-moving nature of this investigation but also the progress my team is making in identifying the persons responsible for the tragic death of Hani Solomon," the Met's Detective Chief Inspector Vicky Tunstall said.

"However, I would still like to hear from any witnesses who could help this investigation.

"I am specifically keen to speak to anybody who has information or footage of two males on scooters who were seen riding away from the scene at speed shortly after the attack from Novello Street," she added.

"Something which may seem insignificant to you could be very significant for the investigation, so please let us know about it. I can assure those with information that, if you have concerns around contacting us, I will ensure your confidentiality."

Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance were joined by police at the scene of the stabbing in Parson's Green but were unable to save Hani's life.

Despite receiving treatment for stab injuries he was pronounced dead at the scene at 7.28pm.

Police said his next of kin has been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

A post-mortem examination carried out on Fulham Mortuary on Saturday, 13 February confirmed he died of knife injury to the chest.

The Met continue to appeal for information on what happened in their investigation, and in particular hope to trace the two men they said were spotted "leaving the scene" of the stabbing "on scooters".
