A fundraising walk is taking place in September to support young people suffering from parental loss.
It's Time is a Wandsworth based charity set up during the pandemic to support 16-30-year-olds who experience the death of a parent.
The walk is 15 miles or 15km, which represents approximately 15% of the UK that will sadly lose a parent by the age of 30.
Participants can choose to take part anywhere and at any time on Sunday, September 5.
All ticket sales and donations will go directly to providing services for young adults.
This includes online courses to help young adults process parental loss, a peer mentoring programme and group therapy sessions.
Funding also pays for bereavement guides for schools, colleges, universities and employers, as well as interventions with vulnerable young adults.
It's Time was set up in Wandsworth during the pandemic by a number of trustees, including Dave Jacob-Lloyd who is a Wandsworth resident.
Tickets are £15 or you can donate directly here.
