A number of streets in the Harrow area are set to be temporarily closed for roadworks.

Notices from Harrow Council in this week’s edition of the Harrow Times detail the extent of the closures and other restrictions that may be implemented until the works are completed.

Vehicles are due to be prevented from entering or exiting Harley Crescent at its junction with Harrow View, and Hide Road at its junction with Harrow View for utility works.

The works are scheduled to begin on December 16 and are expected to be finished by December 18.

The diversion routes will be via Harley Road and vice versa, and Bolton Road, Pinner View and vice versa.

More utility works are set to lead to a partial four-day closure affecting two other roads from December 20 to December 24.

The works mean drivers will be prevented from travelling southbound on Tudor Road between its junction of Athelstone Road and Graham Road, and Cecil Road between its junction of Graham Road and Headstone Road.

In addition, vehicles will be prohibited from waiting or loading at any time on:

  • Tudor Road, from opposite the northern boundary of No. 2 Barratt Way and opposite the western kerb line of Graham Road.
  • Wellington Road, from opposite the kerb line of Cecil Road and opposite the rear eastern boundary of No. 78.
  • Wolseley Road, from opposite the northern boundary of No. 41 and opposite the southern boundary of No. 35.

The alternative route will be via Athelstone Road, Whitefriars Drive, High Road, High Street, George Gange Way, Palmerston Road, High Street, Ellen Webb Drive and vice versa.
