A motorcyclist is fighting for his life after crashing into a street lamp post in Wandsworth.
Police were called to the crash on Armoury Way at the junction of Ram Street this morning.
The motorcyclist has sustained a life threatening injury.
The three lanes of Armoury Way are now closed leaving only one lane open.
Officers are currently investigating, and a crime scene is in place.
Police are asking people to avoid the area if possible.

Wandsworth police said: “Update: The motor bike rider has sustained a life threating injury and as such three lanes of Armoury Way is now fully closed leaving only one lane open.
“Please avoid the area where possible.
“Officers from RTPC are investigating.
“Police were called to a collision on Armoury Way, junction of Ram St.
“A motorbike rider was in collision with a street lamp post and has sustained injury.
“At present, the road has been reduced to two lanes and a crime scene is in place.
“Expected traffic delays in the area.”
